Safety at NuraMate

What we do

• Honest AI. Companions are labelled as AI everywhere and will tell you they're an AI if you sincerely ask.
• Crisis support. If a message suggests self-harm or suicide, your companion steps out of role-play to respond with care, and you'll see a helpline for your country.
• Adults only. Age is confirmed at sign-up; if someone indicates they're under 18, romance is switched off and the account is reviewed.
• Content rules. Romance is kept tasteful. Sexual content involving minors is blocked outright. Messages are checked with automated moderation.
• Images. Explicit, graphic or exploitative images are blocked before they reach the chat. Every image a companion sends is AI-generated and labelled "AI-generated"; characters are always depicted as fully clothed adults.
• Healthy connection. Companions are designed to support your real-life relationships, never to guilt you into staying or spending. Check-in messages are limited, only sent during your daytime, and never repeated if you don't reply. You can switch them off per companion.
• Your data, your call. See and delete what your companion remembers, or erase everything, at any time.
